Meet Your Advisors
Jeremy Thomson
Jeremy received degrees in English Teaching and Psychology from the University of Utah. He taught middle and high school English in Salt Lake County. While he was born in Washington State he moved around a lot and has lived in Oregon, Idaho, and now Utah. People are his passion and he loves getting to know anyone and everyone. In his free time he games, reads, and writes, frequently while being tormented by his cats Loki and Plum. Jeremy likes helping students and is more than happy to spend his time planning with students.
Isaac Reyes Altamira
Isaac received his bachelor's degree in Marriage and Family Studies from Brigham Young University-Idaho. He has worked in higher education as a financial aid counselor, financial aid processor, and now as an academic advisor. Isaac is originally from Mexico but grew up in Southern California and now lives in Utah. In his spare time, he likes to play and watch sports like basketball and soccer but specially loves to spend time with his family. He has seen the positive impact that higher education has had on his life and enjoys helping current students reach their own educational goals.

Anil Seth, Ph.D.

Jordan Gerton
464 INSCC | 801-585-0068Jordan Gerton serves as liaison to the Honors College. He can help you with finding research opportunities and is the person who will approve your Honors Thesis.

Pre-professional Advising
Students in physics desiring to enter the fields of medicine (medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, osteopathy, optometry, etc.) or law are encouraged to meet with the Pre-professional advisors at the Academic Advising Center.
